It takes a village
Coming together— to work with nature instead of against it
“Birmingham is a beautiful place. Alabama boasts such scenery that many people who haven’t witnessed it are shocked when they do. There are holes here waiting to be filled, some hidden and some gaping. In the shutdown, so many of us felt one of the most gaping of the holes in our lives, bodies and spirits— lack of community and further spaces to foster such community. I long for those spaces. The people you see, the humanity that makes those spaces exist and thrive. With this village I hope to do that.”
